About Audio Converter
Audio conversion runs on our server with FFmpeg. MP3, M4A (AAC) and OGG (Vorbis) are compressed formats: higher bitrates sound better and make bigger files, and 192 kbps suits most music. WAV and FLAC are lossless; converting to them keeps the current quality but cannot restore quality already lost in an MP3. Tags such as title and artist are kept when the target format supports them; video tracks and cover art are dropped. Files are checked before processing and deleted after download, or automatically within about 15 minutes.

Which format should I choose?
MP3 for compatibility, M4A for good quality at smaller sizes, FLAC to keep lossless quality, and WAV for editing software.
Will converting MP3 to FLAC improve quality?
No. It keeps the existing quality in a lossless format but cannot restore what MP3 compression removed.
Can I convert several files at once?
