About Split PDF

Use this tool to send only the relevant part of a long document, separate a scanned batch into individual files, or remove pages you do not need. It offers three modes: extract selected pages into one new PDF, split by ranges where each range becomes its own file, or save every page as a separate PDF. When there is more than one result, the files are packed into a ZIP. All processing happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write page ranges?

Separate ranges with commas, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Each range becomes a separate PDF file.

Why did I get a ZIP file?

When the split produces more than one PDF, the files are bundled into a single ZIP so you can download them at once.

Is the quality of the pages reduced?

No. Pages are copied as they are, without re-rendering, so text and images remain identical.

Is my document uploaded?

No. Splitting is done entirely in your browser on your device.
