About Password Generator
Passwords are created with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (Web Crypto). Each character is drawn without statistical bias, and every selected character type appears at least once. The strength estimate is the entropy in bits of a random password of that length and character set; 75 bits or more is strong for most uses. Generated passwords exist only on your screen: they are never sent, stored or logged, and this page loads no ads or third-party scripts. Use a password manager to store them.
Frequently asked questions
Are these passwords really random?
Yes. They come from the Web Crypto secure random generator built into your browser, not from Math.random.
Do you see or store my passwords?
No. They are generated in your browser and never leave your device.
How long should a password be?
At least 16 characters with mixed character types for important accounts. Longer is better.
