About PowerPoint to PDF
A PDF is a reliable way to share slides with people who do not have presentation software, or to attach a deck to an email. Each slide becomes one page, keeping images, text formatting, and Arabic text as closely as possible. Animations, transitions, and embedded video cannot be represented in a PDF and are not kept. Conversion runs on our server with LibreOffice: your file is uploaded over HTTPS, processed in an isolated temporary folder, and deleted after download or automatically after about 15 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Are animations kept?
No. A PDF is static, so animations, transitions, and video are not included. Each slide appears in its final state.
Are speaker notes included?
No. Only the slides themselves are exported.
Why do some fonts look different?
If the presentation uses fonts that are not installed on our server, similar fonts are used instead. The tool warns you when this may happen.
Is the older PPT format supported?
This tool accepts PPTX. Save older PPT files as PPTX first.
